After having all the schools shut down due to Covid, a young boy from a rural village, dreams to be an IAS officer.

A documentary (short movie) is the struggle story of Abhishek who wants admission in the reputed Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya so that one day he can serve his country.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Shooting the documentary in a remote rural village was both challenging and rewarding. My crew and I encountered several obstacles, one of the most memorable being a night sequence where we were caught in complete darkness after the electricity of the entire village went out. It pushed us to improvise and find creative solutions to continue filming. Another challenge was working with real-life people, turning them into actors. It was a struggle at times to guide them through the process, but seeing them come to life on screen was incredibly fulfilling. Throughout this journey, I was fortunate to have the unwavering support of our producers, Kiran Deep Sandhu and Devesh Mohan. They believed in my vision from the start, giving me the creative freedom I needed to bring the documentary to life and making sure that we had everything we needed to make it work, no matter the setbacks.
