The only difference between both the films is the production house with the cast being unchanged. This has to be one of my first ever family drama short films because usually my comfort zone works around action thriller films. The first film that is “If Only You Were Here” is written solely by A.P Advik Arora, directed by A.P Advik Arora & Sanika Prabhu. With the cinematography done by A.P Advik Arora & Sanika Prabhu. Unfortunately, our usual cinematographer couldn’t join us for the first film. Moreover, it is being solely released under ASA Productions.
For If Only You Were There, that is the sequel of If Only You Were Here, is written by Sanika Prabhu, Aryan Vinayaraj and A.P Advik Arora. Directed by Sanika Prabhu, Cinematography by Aryan Vinayaraj and Edited by A.P Advik Arora. This film is for our advanced portfolio.

Changes in production
Due to the massive delay in production, our main actor (Arnav Awasarmol) backed out. Afterwhich, Sanika Prabhu took over as the Director with A.P Advik Arora taking the lead role. The film also consists of Ritika Sharma as the lead actress with the cinematography being done by Pranat Shah and Aryan Vinayaraj.

“This film was obviously A.P’s first acting debut with his performance as Mr. Chaterjee being more natural than his performance as Ayan. It’s easy to act behind tons of make up, the real deal is when you act naturally. Ritika Sharma’s performance was not highlighted that much because of her having a lack of dialogues, however the climax scene is where her acting skills are really vivid. Along with that, the cinematography and editing at some aspects were beautiful, but some frames were quite mediocre. The direction could have been better as the story was not quite understood by the audience, however the acting performance was quite natural” – Unknown
