Pass the events of Avengers: Infinity war, this story takes place in a multiverse universe. The two main characters of this film are based on Marvel and DC comics that have come before it. We see it as a classic A.P Makers movie. Gritty, suspenseful and oddly funny, the characters live in the real world and the stakes are personal. After the snap, more than half of the world’s population wiped out as shown in Avengers: Infinity war, but in that they only showed one universe’s story, where as the effect of Thanos’ snap was destructive in every universe including the DC universe. It’s a troubled time. Ironman and Nebula stuck in space, Batman loosing Robin causing him to seek revenge, resulting in a war between Batman and Ironman.
The importance of VFX in this film
The entire film was first roughly planned and it’s first draft was executed through a process called pre-visualization allowing a director, cinematographer or VFX Supervisor to experiment with different staging and art direction options—such as lighting, camera placement and movement, stage direction and editing—without having to incur the costs of actual production.
